Wedding Emergency Kit

Whether you are planning a destination wedding or an event closer to home, our Wedding Emergency Kit will help ensure your day runs smoothly - even when the inevitable hiccup happens.

First and foremost, we encourage the use of this checklist for getting ready, but many of the wedding emergency kit items are also good to have on hand during the festivities when surprises arise.

When you create your kit, we recommend also making a small basket to leave in the bathrooms during the ceremony and reception with things like mints, deodorant, a lint roller, floss, and tissue. Your guests will not only be impressed with your attention to detail, but they will appreciate it.

Wedding Emergency Kit Essentials:

  • *                    Safety pins
  • *                    Small scissors

Beauty Needs:

*           Lipstick: If you are hiring a make-up artist make sure they will provide you with a small sample size of the lip color they put on you that day. If you won’t have a purse with you, have one of your attendants hold it.

*           Nail polish: If you don’t purchase nail polish in advance and opt to select a color at nail salon make sure to buy a bottle in case you have any chips.

  • *                    Toothbrush
  • *                    Tooth paste
  • *                    Floss
  • *                    Perfume
  • *                    Deodorant

Some items in the wedding emergency kit may seem silly to list - toothbrush, deodorant, phone charger. Who forgets those items? But, the reality is that with so much going the bride and groom especially tend to forget some of the most basic items.

Seven Italian Wedding Traditions

Seven Italian Wedding Traditions

There is so much history and superstition involved that it’s fun to explain the backstory and try to find ways to incorporate it into their destination wedding festivities. Since it’s a popular question we thought we’d break down seven of our favorite Italian wedding traditions.
